What is the HushLume China Sourcing Service? We help international customers buy products from Taobao, 1688, JD, and Xiaohongshu. Simply send us a link or photo via WhatsApp, and we will handle the domestic purchasing, inspect the items, send you confirmation photos, reinforce the packaging, and arrange secure international shipping to countries including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Singapore.

If you found something on a Chinese website but can't easily buy it, or if you only have a photo of what you're looking for, we can help. HushLume is an independent studio based in China. You don't need a Chinese payment method or Chinese-language skills—we handle the communication, purchasing, checking, and international shipping for you.

How It Works

1. Submit Your Request

Send us a product link (Taobao, 1688, JD, Xiaohongshu) or just a photo via WhatsApp. Even with just a description or reference image, we'll try to locate what you're looking for.

2. Product & Logistics Check

We'll verify the product specifications, seller details, and check with our logistics partners to ensure the item is suitable for international shipping. We'll notify you of any potential issues.

3. Quote & Order

We will send a quote including the product cost, China domestic shipping, and our sourcing fee. Once approved, you can pay via a secure custom Shopify checkout link. We purchase the item only after payment is confirmed.

4. Photo & Video Confirmation

When the item arrives at our studio in China, we perform a basic visual and packaging check. We will take detailed photos and videos to send to you for a final review.

5. Shipment or Return

If you approve the items, we will confirm the final international shipping cost and dispatch the package. If the item isn't what you expected, we can help process a return. Please note: If the supplier charges a domestic return shipping fee (typically $2 to $10), this cost will be your responsibility.

Sourcing from Chinese Platforms

Navigating Chinese-language pages, domestic payment methods, and non-English-speaking sellers can be difficult. We can source from Taobao, Tmall, 1688, JD.com, Xiaohongshu, independent online stores, and individual sellers. Just send us the link, and we'll handle the entire China side of the purchase.

What We Can Help You Buy

We focus on ordinary consumer products that can be legally purchased and shipped internationally. Instead of individual categories, here are common examples:

Fashion & Hobby: Cosplay items, Lolita fashion, anime/game merchandise, and independent Chinese clothing and watch brands.
Home & Desk: Desk accessories, stationery, journaling supplies, photography accessories, and small lifestyle products.

What We Don't Source

For safety, shipping, and legal reasons, we generally do not accept:

Children's toys, children's clothing, and baby products
Extremely expensive or high-value items
Highly fragile items that easily break in transit
Weapons, weapon components, dangerous materials, or hazardous chemicals
Drugs, controlled/restricted medications, food, supplements, or regulated cosmetics
Counterfeit, replica, or IP-infringing products
Items with restricted batteries, restricted dangerous goods, or oversized dimensions
Products with complex customs, import, or safety certification requirements

We may decline any request if we believe it presents significant legal, shipping, or safety risks.

Pricing & Shipping

Your total sourcing order consists of: Product Cost + China Domestic Shipping + Sourcing Service Fee + Optional Additional Packaging + International Shipping. We will outline the relevant costs clearly before you approve the order. Getting a quote is completely free with no obligation to purchase.

International shipping is quoted based on destination, actual weight, dimensional weight, and shipping method. When practical, we can consolidate multiple products from different sellers into one shipment to save costs, and arrange additional packaging reinforcement if needed.

💡 Cost-Saving Tip for Sea Freight: If your items already weigh around 4/5kg, we recommend combining a few more items to bring the total weight up to just under 12kg. Shipping this consolidated package via Sea Freight is significantly more cost-effective. (Please note: The combined volume/dimensions must not exceed the carrier's limits.)

Customs, Import & Inspections

Our inspection is a basic visual and packaging check to catch obvious problems before international shipment, not a professional performance guarantee or safety certification. Customers are responsible for ensuring products can legally be imported into their country, and for paying any applicable import duties, VAT/GST, customs fees, or local taxes.

Shipping Liability & After-Sales (Please Read)

Transit Risks: Once we send you photos and videos for final confirmation and dispatch the package, we are not liable for any loss, damage, or delivery issues that occur during international transit. If an issue occurs, we will actively assist you in communicating with the logistics carrier and filing a compensation claim, but we do not assume financial responsibility or liability for transit-related problems.

No Warranty or After-Sales Service: We act as a purchasing agent, not the manufacturer. Products sourced through us do not come with any warranty, guarantee, or after-sales service from HushLume. We do not provide repairs, replacements, or technical support for items after they have been purchased and shipped.

Yes.When practical, we can receive products from multiple Chinese sellers and consolidate them into one international shipment.

Do I have to pay before you purchase the product?

How much is the sourcing service fee?

The service fee depends on the product and the work required.We'll provide the sourcing service fee as part of your quote before you place the order.

Can you check my product before shipping it internationally?

Yes.When the sourcing arrangement allows, we receive the product in China and perform a basic visual and packaging check before international shipping.Photos or videos can be provided when useful.

How long does the process take?

A typical order may take approximately:China domestic purchase & delivery: 2–3 days

Receiving, basic inspection & forwarding preparation: 2–3 days

International shipping: typically around 10–15 days for small/light air shipments

Actual delivery times vary by destination, shipping method, seller, customs and carrier conditions. Chinese public holidays may also cause delays.

Can you guarantee customs clearance?

No.Import requirements and customs decisions are controlled by the destination country.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the product can legally be imported and for paying applicable duties, taxes and other destination charges.

Can you source anything from China?

Not everything.We review requests individually and may decline products involving restricted goods, dangerous materials, counterfeit products, significant regulatory requirements, oversized shipping or other risks.
