The materials we use aren’t chosen for cost. They’re chosen because nothing else works as well.
Cast Acrylic
Most plastic looks like plastic. Cast acrylic doesn’t.
It has optical clarity — light passes through it the way it passes through glass. Colors sit inside it, not on top of it. A gradient in cast acrylic looks like something that grew there, not something that was printed.
It also holds its color. Extruded acrylic yellows over time. Cast acrylic doesn’t. Five years from now, your panel will look the same as the day it arrived.
We use substantial thickness for all panels and shelves — it doesn’t flex, it doesn’t bow under weight.
Chrome-Plated Carbon Steel Optical Shafts
These are precision-ground steel rods — the same type used in CNC machinery and linear motion systems. The chrome plating gives them a mirror finish and makes them corrosion-resistant.
No flex under sustained load. No wobble after years of use.
Most desk accessories use hollow tube metal or plastic rods. We don’t.
EU Standard Aluminum Profile
European standard extruded aluminum profile — the same material used in industrial machinery and precision equipment. Different cross-sections are used across different products depending on the structural requirements.
It’s not decorative. It’s structural. No plastic in any load-bearing component.
Machined Aluminum Alloy Fittings
Every connection point is solid billet aluminum — machined, not cast. Cast fittings develop micro-cracks over time. Machined fittings don’t.
18mm Marine Board
Waterproof birch plywood. Used as an alternative panel material for customers who want a warmer, more natural aesthetic. The same thickness standard used in quality furniture — solid, stable, and built to last.
