Long metal pieces and bulky finished furniture can be costly to ship and vulnerable to damage in transit. Smaller structures can be prepared and packed as components, while some larger projects make more sense when the main profiles are cut locally from a detailed design. Import duties, clearance requirements and shipping costs also vary by destination. We discuss the build and delivery approach before confirming a custom project.
Physical Aluminum Furniture Builds
For compact rolling carts, equipment stands, small shelves and side tables, see our Custom Aluminum Furniture service. Share dimensions, equipment clearances or a sketch; we review the layout in a simple 3D preview, quote the build, source the components, and test-assemble the piece in our workshop to check fit. We then disassemble it for tracked flat-pack shipping. This physical service is best suited to pieces that can be safely tested, packed and shipped internationally.
A Physical Desk Frame for One or Two
Our Custom Aluminum Desk Frame is also a physical, made-to-order product, with Single Desk and Double Desk options. We adapt the aluminum frame to your dimensions and prepare its frame components and matching hardware for shipment. The tabletop is not included: source a wood or glass top locally and tell us its dimensions and material so we can review the appropriate frame and fittings. The 3D reference shows an approximately 180 × 71 × 64 cm frame beneath an approximately 200 × 80 cm tabletop; those are reference measurements, not fixed dimensions for every order. The long horizontal beams are split for packing and joined with dedicated connectors during assembly. For a frame longer than 200 cm, extra middle support and a separate shipping review are needed. Acrylic decorative panels, pegboards and steel-cable side details can be discussed for one or both sides before the build is confirmed.
Digital Furniture Design Plans for Local Builds
If you prefer to source the main aluminum profiles near you, the Custom Furniture Design Plan starts at $20 for small-to-medium compact pieces such as carts, shelves, equipment stands and side tables. Larger or multi-section projects are quoted according to their scope. This is a separate design service, not the physical desk frame above.
